About the role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic AI initiatives for one of our enterprise clients.
The client is currently building a new AI-focused organization and launching programs in two core domains:
- Data analytics & decision intelligence
- AI agents & workflow automation
This role involves helping to establish the AI operating model, coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, and ensure scalable execution of innovative technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage AI-related projects from initiation to delivery, covering both data and automation domains.
- Define project scope, delivery roadmap, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Establish and optimize delivery processes, governance structures, and reporting mechanisms.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Software Developers.
- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation outcomes.
- Promote continuous improvement, transparency, and high performance within delivery teams.
- Prepare executive-level status reports and drive decision-making through data-driven insights.
Required qualifications
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), or other core AI initiatives.
- Strong technical understanding of the AI/ML project lifecycle (from experimentation, through MLOps, to production deployment).
- Fluency in Agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Kanban) with the ability to pragmatically adapt them to an AI context.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, essential for managing complex stakeholder interactions.
- Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or advanced Agile certifications (e.g., PSM II, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
- Fluent English (minimum C1 level) is required, as the project operates in an international environment.
