Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) to lead and coordinate complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects within the rocket systems sector. You will oversee the technical delivery of projects involving embedded systems, electronics, and software, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution while fostering collaboration between engineering, program, and product teams. Your goal is to build a high-performing, goal-oriented engineering team capable of delivering innovative solutions in precision-guided weapon systems. Main Responsibilities Drive engineering delivery to ensure projects meet schedule, cost, and quality objectives. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (systems, embedded, electronics, software, and test). Plan, monitor, and deliver engineering work packages using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles. Define and maintain the technical schedule, milestones, and deliverables aligned with contractual and internal commitments. Anticipate and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. Apply and promote Agile or V-Model methodologies adapted to defense and high-reliability projects. Collaborate closely with the Product Design Authority to ensure technical coherence and design integrity. Communicate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders, reporting progress, challenges, and technical decisions. Work cross-functionally with Program Management, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance with standards (ISO 9001, AQAP). Support certification and qualification activities related to product safety, reliability, and performance.

Required qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering (systems, electronics, software, or equivalent). Minimum 5 years' experience in technical project management or technical leadership within a high-tech environment (aerospace, defense, automotive, embedded systems) Solid knowledge of systems engineering, including MBSE, hardware/software integration, and validation processes. Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical interfaces. Proven ability to balance technical depth with project execution efficiency. Familiarity with industry standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754, ISO 26262 is a plus. Proficiency with project and configuration tools: MS Project, Jira, Polarion, Capella, Windchill, PowerBI. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills. Fluent in English and French (Dutch or German is a plus).
