Job Description
ENGIBEX is looking for a Test Engineer to join one of our innovative engineering teams within the industrial and energy sector. In this role, you will take ownership of building, testing, and validating prototype systems and customer-specific solutions. You'll work closely with design and project engineers to ensure that products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety.
Your Role
- Design and execute test setups and test programs in collaboration with project teams.
- Build, prepare, and test prototype machines, components, and modules.
- Perform measurements, monitor test parameters, and intervene when necessary.
- Analyse test results, identify root causes, and provide feedback to the project and design teams.
- Support on-site testing and validation activities at customer locations.
- Ensure that testing procedures, safety standards, and technical guidelines remain up to date.
- Coordinate lab activities and guide lab technicians where needed.
- Contribute to improving testing efficiency, methods, and tools.
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Electromechanics or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, testing methods, and measurement tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
- Communicative, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Creative thinker with an eye for process improvement and innovation.
