We are looking for a Cloud/Platform Engineer to join our team in Bucharest, Romanie (remotely), focused on setting up, optimizing, and scaling the company's cloud data infrastructure.
You will play a critical role in ensuring platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency, enabling scalable data pipelines, analytics, and AI use cases across the organization.
๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐:
ย ย - Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure for data and analytics workloads.
ย ย - Ensure portability and scalability across platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
ย ย - Implement cost monitoring and FinOps practices to optimize cloud spend.
ย ย - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for platform automation and infrastructure as code.
ย ย - Integrate observability, monitoring, and alerting into all platform components.
ย ย - Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to ensure infrastructure supports open standards.
ย ย - Support orchestration of workflows (Airflow, DBT, event-driven architectures).
ย ย - Troubleshoot platform performance issues and optimize reliability and availability.

Required qualifications
๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ค๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐:
ย ย - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
ย ย - 5+ years of experience as a Cloud or Platform Engineer, preferably in a data-intensive environment.
ย ย - Expertise in Microsoft Azure (Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks).
ย ย - Strong experience with Snowflake and distributed cloud data platforms.
ย ย - Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of automation tools (Airflow, DBT, Power Automate).
ย ย - Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.
ย ย - Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) โ both mandatory.
ย ย - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐:
ย ย - Experience with cost optimization (FinOps) in Azure environments.
