We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Bucharest, Romania (remotely), playing a key role in developing advanced statistical models, machine learning solutions, and AI-driven experimentation frameworks to drive faster, data-informed decisions across the group.
You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and business stakeholders to design and deploy ML-ready pipelines and business-facing use cases, with a strong focus on scalability, trust, and near real-time insights.

ย ย - Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for trading, risk, and operational use cases.
ย ย - Explore and apply advanced AI techniques, including agentic AI, to optimize decision-making processes.
ย ย - Develop frameworks for experimentation, testing, and continuous improvement of ML models.
ย ย - Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure ML pipelines are scalable, reliable, and production-ready.
ย ย - Work with Data Architects to align semantic models and the knowledge graph with ML requirements.
ย ย - Partner with business domain experts to translate problems into data-driven solutions.
ย ย - Ensure model interpretability, governance, and alignment with compliance standards.

Required qualifications
๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ค๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐:
ย ย - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
ย ย - 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in trading, energy, or financial services.
ย ย - Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
ย ย - Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Scala is a plus.
ย ย - Hands-on experience deploying ML models into production (batch and streaming).
ย ย - Solid understanding of statistical modeling, optimization, and experimentation design.
ย ย - Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) โ both mandatory.
ย ย - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
