Job Description
Continuous innovation is required in the Broadband Networks and Broadband Digital Devices product lines with next generation PON technologies on our client's roadmap. SoC's play a crucial role in our client's strategy towards lower power, higher throughputs and lower costs.
To strengthen their global System-on-Chip (SoC) development team, we are looking for a talented engineer with a strong passion for SoC and embedded software development. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about collaboration and thrive in a team of highly skilled, motivated professionals.
- Use scripting and programming languages like Python, C, and C++ when needed.
- Support simulation and on-target validation on FPGA/ASIC boards.
- Apply verification methodologies such as SystemVerilog/UVM.
- Contribute to synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis.
- Use a wide range of EDA tools: Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Xilinx, Altera.
- Get involved in embedded software development for on-chip processors.
- Collaborate closely with PCB designers, software developers, and test engineers.
- Solve complex technical challenges using creative programming solutions.
- Work in an international development environment.
Required qualifications
- You hold (or will obtain this year) a Master's degree in (Applied) Engineering Sciences, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- You have a strong interest in the telecommunications sector and its technologies.
