Job Description
We're looking for a Material Master BOM Specialist to own the relevant Material Management Master Data functional business process for a global premium consumer goods company, leading process design, identifying process improvements, and enabling process digitization and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and evaluation of differences in Material Management Master Data processes within the Global S/4 template and local CEE Region needs, including:
-- defining data maintenance processes and data flows
-- definition of data quality standards and harmonization needed to support S/4, IBP and risk and compliance roll-outs, and monitor data quality and cleansing progress
- Consider the strategic implications of cultural, legal and regulatory differences across different countries/regions that affect the accounting function
- Preparing process documentation
- Performing UAT (User Acceptance Testing) during the Test Stage of the project
Required qualifications
- Relevant academic background in Finance, IT, Data Management, or related field
- Understanding and experience with creating and maintaining (Material) Master Data
- Strong knowledge of Material Master and BOM (Bill of Materials) structures in SAP
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Material Management module
- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience with data migration and cleansing activities
- Knowledge of IBP integration and risk/compliance requirements
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Fluent in English; any other language is a plus
