Job Description
We're looking for a Cutover Process Lead to take responsibility for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of all cutover activities required to transition from legacy systems to new ERP solutions (SAP S/4HANA) for a global premium consumer goods company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed cutover plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task ownership, in alignment with project milestones and business requirements
- Coordinate and lead all cutover activities, including mock runs, dress rehearsals, and the final production cutover, ensuring readiness across all streams (technical, business, data, infrastructure)
- Facilitate Go/No-Go decision checkpoints, ensuring all criteria are met for a successful transition
- Identify, escalate, and resolve cutover issues, risks, and dependencies, working with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Ensure robust communication and reporting throughout the cutover process, including status updates, issue logs, and post-cutover reviews
- Oversee defect management, contingency planning, and rollback procedures to mitigate risks and ensure rapid response to issues
- Support business continuity by coordinating with local and global teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared
- Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of cutover methodologies and templates
- Provide hypercare support post go-live, addressing issues and ensuring a smooth handover to operations
Required qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Extensive experience in ERP cutover management, preferably within SAP environments (e.g., S/4HANA, EWM)
- Proven track record in leading cutover activities for large-scale implementations
- Strong understanding of ERP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO), data migration, system integration, and infrastructure requirements
- Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure, make informed decisions, and drive accountability
- Knowledge of local and regional legal, regulatory, and policy requirements in ERP operations
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, analytical mindset
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, managing multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
