Job Description

We're looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist to develop, maintain, and manage all technical export documentation and supporting materials for the SAP CEE Team of a global premium consumer goods company. This role is pivotal in enabling process digitisation, innovation, and compliance across business functions (MM, SD, FI/CO, and others). You'll play a critical part in supporting change management initiatives and ensuring a smooth transition to new processes, especially given the absence of comprehensive legacy documentation, making this role essential for capturing new knowledge and supporting ongoing transformation. Responsibilities: - Develop, manage, and maintain technical export documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with both global templates and local/regional requirements - Analyse and evaluate differences between global ERP templates and local/regional needs, providing recommendations for adaptation where necessary - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other project stages to ensure successful implementation and operation of ERP and export solutions - Ensure compliance with local and regional legal, regulatory, and policy requirements in all ERP- and export-related activities - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP and export system operations, acting as a key contact for issue resolution and user support - Collaborate with BPOs, Group IT, and local management to ensure process adherence and to monitor/approve local deviations from the core model - Establish and maintain a digital library of technical documentation, implementing templates and procedures for consistent documentation - Proactively identify process improvements and enable process digitisation and innovation - Support change management activities by creating clear, accessible documentation that facilitates user adoption and organisational progress Note: There is currently no comprehensive documentation on legacy processes or organisational structures, making this role essential for capturing new knowledge and supporting ongoing transformation

Required qualifications

- Relevant academic background in Supply Chain & Logistics, Information Technology, or related field - Extensive experience in ERP systems (especially SAP EWM, S/4HANA) and export documentation - Strong understanding of compliance with local and regional legal, regulatory, and policy requirements in ERP and export operations - Experience in user support, troubleshooting, and system operations - Experience in developing and managing technical documentation libraries - Proficiency in documentation tools and content management systems - Knowledge of export compliance, customs regulations, and international trade documentation - Excellent written communication and technical writing skills; Collaborative team player - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities - Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
