Job Description
- Report directly to the construction manager for day-to-day activities, report progress and quality, ensuring transparency and alignment on milestones.
- Report directly to the Design Lead (engineering) for commercial and contractual topics.
- Act as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) on the Yard for all FIM related topics (towards the engineering team, the Yard Contractor, the FIM suppliers…).
- Supervise the day-to-day schedule and oversee all site activities for HV/LV equipment integration/installation including installation, testing and commissioning of HV/LV equipment.
- Coordinate client representatives for FIM-related tasks and deliverables.
- Monitor and oversee site conditions to support and facilitate FIM supplier activities.
- Coordinate HV/LV FIM commissioning activities on site in cooperation with O&M—including planning, QHSE processes, and execution.
- Interface with the engineering team to resolve technical queries and align site execution with design.
- Follow up site activities on QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) documentation from the FIM supplier.
- Works in a multidisciplinary teams together with, amongst others: site team, FIM-suppliers (GE/Siemens KPT/), OEM (commissioning), safety inspectors onsite, Fdesign engineers,…
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports (together with the construction manager)
- Act as the knowledge center/expert for all FIM-suppliers (and his contractors), OEM and incl. full knowledge of all for contractors documents and ER's/Employers document)
Required qualifications
- You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Experience with commissioning of HV equipment (HV transformers, HV GIS) is a must
- Experience with managing multiple disciplines/parties onsite is a must.
- Experience in the offshore sector is preferable.
- Experience with topside Fabrication is preferable.
- Experience with Quality Control on a construction site is a plus.
- Education: Master Electromechanical engineering
- Possess a VCA VOL/SCC certificate.
- Shall comply with PPE and training matrix.
- Excellent MS Office skills (able to write well structured reports, and manage incoming reports efficiently).
- Aconex skills are preferable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
