We are hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Supply Chain Manager to oversee all logistics functions of a large aircraft (fixed wing and rotary wing) maintenance centers - including procurement, warehousing, inventory, and distribution—to ensure continuous operational readiness and material accountability.
He/she will plan, coordinate, and evaluate logistics activities to meet mission requirements, including forecasting, environmental compliance, and contingency operations.
Job Description
Duties & responsabilites :
1) Oversee logistics operations: Manage procurement, warehousing, inventory, transportation, and just-in-time supply delivery to ensure continuous operational readiness for aviation and maintenance units.
2) Advise and coordinate: Serve as the primary advisor to maintenance management and coordinate all logistics requirements with internal departments and external agencies.
3) Ensure compliance and accountability: Maintain 100% property and inventory accountability, monitor import/export processes, and ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and safety standards.
4) Develop systems and policies: Create and implement logistics policies, SOPs, and risk management programs to improve efficiency, cost control, and continuity of supply operations.
5) Lead and mentor personnel: Supervise, train, and evaluate logistics staff, establishing clear performance standards and fostering professional development.
6) Analyze and optimize performance: Track logistics metrics, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to meet cost, productivity, and operational targets.
Required qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Certified logistics course
- Minimum of 10 Years Experience in providing Logistics Support in aviation maintenance
- Minimum of 6 Years of leadership experience, preferably in a multicultural and / or military environment.
