We are hiring a Workshop Technician – Helicopter Enginer PT6C
Job Description
Role :
Assist the Workshop Supervisor to accomplish aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft turbine engines and components.
Duties & responsabilites :
1) Perform engine maintenance: Remove, replace, service, clean, and store aircraft engines and related components.
2) Conduct repairs and testing: Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test turbine engine systems and subsystems per technical manuals.
3) Support troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and assist in rigging and adjusting engine controls.
4) Manage tools and parts: Maintain tools, requisition spare parts, and ensure proper inventory control.
5) Train and document: Instruct host nation personnel in engine maintenance procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Required qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Aircraft Maintenance license (Part 66 B1.3 license) or FAA Powerplant
- Helicopter type rating AW139 from Part-147 organisation
- Formal PT6C turbine engine training course from an accredited military or civilian Training School.
- Minimum of 5 Years Experience maintaining and troubleshooting helicopter turbine engines
