We are currently hiring a Procurement Manager for one of our clients, an innovative leader in the Defense and Aerospace sector specializing in advanced telecommunications and security systems.
Job Description
As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the procurement of technical components including hardware, PCBs, software and IT resources. You will ensure the integrity and security of the supply chain for sensitive projects while leading and developing a team of procurement professionals. This position is key to supporting high-stakes programs where quality, reliability, and on-time delivery are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of procurement professionals to deliver effective and reliable procurement operations.
- Define and implement procurement strategies aligned with defense and aerospace project requirements.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality components with a focus on hardware, PCBs, software and IT.
- Manage supplier performance and relationships, ensuring compliance with technical, quality and security standards.
- Assess suppliers for cost-effectiveness, delivery capability and risk management to maintain a resilient supply chain.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D and project management teams to align procurement with technical specifications and project timelines.
Required qualifications

- Minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement, with a focus on technical components in the defense or aerospace industries.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, with strong people management and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Proven track record in sourcing hardware, PCBs, software and IT resources.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across technical and business functions.
