Job Description
We are looking for talented colleagues who want to participate in the development of a key core system operating across our organization. This system is built "in-house" using modern technologies and proprietary architecture, ensuring the resulting system is dynamic, flexible, and user-friendly. Full-time Employment Contract Position
Office: Prague, Brno or Pardubice
Hybrid: twice a week in the office
Key Responsibilities
- Management and configuration of software-defined networks (SDN): working with VMware NSX and Cisco ACI in company data centers
- Management and configuration of NSX-T firewalls to ensure network security and efficiency
- Bulk configuration of SDN networks using native API interfaces for process automation
- Creation, analysis, and maintenance of automation scripts for SDN networks, including integration with other systems such as firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow
- Analysis and resolution of complex operational problems in data centers and network infrastructure
- Creation and maintenance of documentation to ensure clarity and efficiency of network management
- Mentoring less experienced colleagues: providing expert consultation and assistance when working with assigned technologies
- Working on projects and collaborating on the implementation of new services and technologies in network infrastructure
- Contributing to the creation of standards in the assigned area, with special emphasis on security aspects
- Issuing vulnerability recommendations: active participation in the Vulnerability Management process
- Coordination and cooperation with other departments for smooth operation of projects and services
Required qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocol (layer architecture)
- Knowledge of SDN networks used in data centers
- Knowledge of VMware technologies, including containerization
- Knowledge of programming/scripting, ideally in connection with infrastructure automation
- Interest and desire to continuously learn in the field and passion for new technologies
- Reliability, ability for analytical, independent, and efficient problem solving
- Resilience in stressful situations
- Czech language proficiency (required), English at B2 level
- Driver's license (category B)
