About the Role
We are seeking an experienced System Support Specialist with deep expertise in BMC Consolidator to join our team on a part-time basis. This specialist will collaborate with three internal teams to ensure our consolidation solution meets all functional requirements while leveraging existing automation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure BMC Consolidator Setup: Develop and configure the optimal BMC Consolidator configuration to meet the combined requirements of three internal teams
- Automation Integration: Reuse and adapt existing automation previously developed for NDSS to maximize efficiency and reduce development time
- Advanced Query Development: Design and implement sophisticated queries to support consolidator functionality and data integration needs
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to align on objectives, technical requirements, and project deliverables
- Knowledge Transfer: Transfer critical knowledge and comprehensive documentation to internal team members to ensure seamless ongoing support and system understanding
- Ongoing Development Support: Participate in consolidator development activities as needed throughout the engagement period
Required qualifications
- BMC Data Model Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of the BMC Data Model with proven practical application
- Consolidator Functions: Strong understanding of consolidator functions, capabilities, and best practices
- Advanced Query Design: Proven experience in designing and implementing complex queries for system integration
- Automation Adaptation: Demonstrated ability to reuse, modify, and adapt existing automation components for new requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in TPL (Transformation Processing Language) development
- Previous hands-on involvement in BMC consolidator implementation projects
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and industry best practices in system support environments
