We are currently seeking a Senior Hardware Consultant to join our client's team in the cinema and medical imaging technology sector. This is a unique opportunity to work on advanced hardware and software systems that support both modern cinema experiences and critical hospital applications.
In this role, you will focus on the testing and integration of visual systems used in surgical environments, where specialized cameras transmit video signals through complex network infrastructures. You'll be responsible for ensuring these systems perform reliably in production environments, requiring a strong hardware-oriented mindset and deep understanding of network technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain electronic systems used in cinema and hospital environments.
- Test and validate video signal transmission through network switches in production settings.
- Troubleshoot and support network infrastructure and hardware components, including switches and routers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with software systems.
- Assist in the development and testing of tools using C# and Python.
- Work with Linux-based systems for configuration, diagnostics, and performance monitoring.
Required qualifications
-Minimum 5 years of experience as a hardware consultant or engineer.
Solid knowledge of:
- Electronics and computer hardware
- Network topology and configuration
- Linux environments
- Basic programming in C# and Python
Strong background in network infrastructure, including:
- IP networking and DNS
- Practical experience with switches, routers, and network protocols
- Experience working with computer networks in production environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
