Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled NVH Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to perform NVH simulations on innovative designs and studying dynamic behaviours affecting noise and vibrations. In addition, you would perform failure analysis on complex mechanical issues to support the design and development of our products. You will also collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet durability, safety and reliability standards. Key Responsibilities: - Build virtual models to evaluate and predict NVH characteristics such as structure-borne noise, vibration levels, and harshness when subjected to loads or environmental excitations - Use simulation software (such as LMS Virtual.Lab, Nastran for NVH, or wave analysis tools) to study vehicle acoustics and vibration responses - Collaborate with design and testing teams to reduce NVH, enhance occupant comfort, and ensure regulatory compliance - Analyze mode shapes, frequency response functions, and other metrics to propose targeted design improvements - Analyse, optimize, interpret simulation results and provide design improvement recommendations to the project teams - Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions - Utilize analytical and numerical simulation methods to predict and optimize the performance of design - Brainstorm and propose solutions to problems based on simulation results

Required qualifications

- MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Fluent in English - 3+ year's automotive powertrain simulation experience in industrial settings - Proficient in using NVH software tools (such as LMS Virtual.Lab, Nastran for NVH, or wave analysis tools) - Deep understanding of vibro-acoustics, frequency domain, and time-domain analyses - Experience with vibro-acoustic solvers, post-processing for transfer paths, and interpretation of frequency spectra. - Comprehensive evaluation of products for buzz, squeak, and rattle, airborne and structure-borne sources. - Candidate must be able to communicate well with the cross-functional team members and be able to efficiently collaborate with the team members to achieve project goals with open-minded, constructive and positive mindset - Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. You are capable to think of out-of-the-box solutions - Excellent team player - Committed to personal growth, team development and company development
