Work remotely from Prague or nearby EU countries while architecting robust solutions and mentoring team members.
🛠️ What You'll Do:
🔄 Lead Data Transformation Projects: Design and implement sophisticated ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Groovy, handling complex data workflows from multiple sources
✅ Drive Quality Excellence: Establish testing standards using pytest and unittest, conduct thorough code reviews, and champion best practices across the team
🗄️ Architect Database Solutions: Work with diverse database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB) to optimize performance and ensure data integrity
📊 Shape Data Governance: Lead data cataloging and governance initiatives using Collibra, ensuring data quality and compliance
🤝 Mentor & Collaborate: Guide junior developers, participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban), and contribute to technical decision-making
Required qualifications
⭐ What You Bring:
3-5 years of software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency 🐍
Groovy programming experience for scripting and automation 🔧
Collibra experience or similar data governance platforms 📊
Proven experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) and quality assurance practices ✅
Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases 💾
Knowledge of data transformation processes and ETL/ELT methodologies 🔄
Strong technical documentation skills and attention to detail 📝
Experience in agile environments with collaborative development practices 🏃♂️
