Job Description
Algoteque is seeking a hybrid Application Admin Engineer with .NET to join a strategic project in the medical technology sector. You'll support the stability of a legacy Vaccination Register platform, while transitioning into .NET backend development of a refactored, modernized solution.
The role is split into two key areas of responsibility:
1. Legacy System Maintenance – Application Administration (approx. 40%)
The existing legacy platform must remain stable during the transition. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the application is running smoothly
- Diagnosing and fixing bugs
- Performing upgrades and system-level adjustments
- Supporting ongoing operations and patch deployments
2. .NET Development – (approx. 60%)
The candidate will have the opportunity to transition into .NET backend development within the new refactored system:
- Working closely with our lead architect
- Contributing to the backend in .NET and integrating with a React frontend
- Writing clean, scalable code and supporting CI/CD efforts
Required qualifications
- Strong experience with application administration and support
- Experience with monitoring tools, debugging live systems, performance tuning
- Solid understanding of .NET development (C#)
- Ability and motivation to grow in backend development under mentorship
- Team player who enjoys working in evolving, real-life production environments
- Knowledge of React or front-end collaboration is a plus
