Job Description
Our client is a global leader in advanced industrial robotics and automation systems. To support the design and development of customized automation solutions, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on electrical wiring and integration of control systems such as PLCs, SCADA, and robotics.
Responsibilities:
- Translate IO lists from the Controls Engineer into detailed electrical specifications.
- Develop electrical layouts and define system architecture using AutoCAD.
- Plan and route cable trays for optimal installation.
- Perform power and cable calculations using Caneco.
- Create, review, and revise electrical diagrams using EPLAN.
- Design the safety architecture in compliance with the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).
- Program safety controllers and coordinate validation testing with the Controls team.
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, and Caneco is considered a strong asset.
- Prior experience with industrial automation projects is highly desirable.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Holder of a valid Category B driver's license.
