What You'll Do
🛠️ Build and maintain robust backend services in Node.js, ensuring top performance and reliability.
🤖 Support and integrate Python-based data pipelines, especially those powering ML and computer vision features.
🤝 Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and data engineers to deliver seamless, production-ready features.
🚀 Extend, refactor, and modernize a platform trusted by leading international sports leagues.
🔄 Transform semi-structured or messy data into clean, usable APIs.
Required qualifications
What We're Looking For
💻 Strong experience with backend JavaScript (Node.js).
🐍 Comfortable reading, debugging, and lightly working with Python (especially in ML/data contexts).
🌐 Solid understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, and backend best practices.
🧩 Ability to work with complex data and turn it into user-friendly APIs.
🗣️ Good communication skills—you'll work with a distributed team and a Prague-based Product Owner.
Bonus Points For
⚽ Experience working with sports data or other data-heavy environments.
☁️ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
🧠 Understanding of ML/AI outputs and integrating them into product features.
🚦 Experience with FastAPI, Kafka, or async frameworks.
