The Project
As part of a decarbonization project, we are looking for a Process Operator to conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to evaluate lithium extraction technologies, optimize process operating conditions, and generate valuable data for process modeling and optimization.
The project is based in Norway two-thirds of the time and in France the rest of the time.

Overview of the rôle
• Daily monitoring of batch tests and pilot lithium extraction installations conducted on several laboratory units located in Norway.
• Supervising sample collection, analysis, and result tracking, in collaboration with the on-site team and the remote team. If necessary, performing physico-chemical analyses using various analytical equipment.
• Participating in maintenance, revision, or modification operations of the installations.
• Participating in the processing and interpretation of experimental results to support the development of the lithium extraction process.
• Contributing to the design and updating of the experimental plan, based on the team's key objectives, ongoing projects, and new data acquired.
• Additionally, you may be involved in other team activities, such as operations on a pre-industrial unit or the design of a new laboratory installation.
Profil recherché
Requirements
• Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science (minimum BAC +2), with laboratory experience.
• Experience with laboratory work and pilot units, enabling autonomous operation of installations.
• Basic skills in electrical systems, mechanics, and automation would be a plus to ensure maintenance or simple modifications of installations.
• Experience in solution chemistry, hydrometallurgy, ideally in extraction processes.
• Ability to work in an international team and communicate in English, both written and spoken.
