With >100 companies supported and 1.6Bn assets under management, Otium Capital has been a partner of choice for entrepreneurs for the past 15 years (incl. Payfit, Silvr, Owkin, TheFork, Polène…)
Otium Studio, its incubator, drives innovative projects from ideation to business development, providing entrepreneurs with expertise, network, resources and funding. We have created 15 startups in the past 3 years like Dossier in the US or Ensol in France. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Associate to join our team and launch with us the next generation of successful startups, based in our Paris office.
Key responsibilities
· Pipeline development: drive the ideation, analysis and validation process for new concepts, aiming to launch 2+ projects per quarter in line with Otium's ambition
· Talent attraction: identify exceptional entrepreneurs with the right skill sets to lead each project, and animate a network of top-tier talent
· Incubation & follow-up: support entrepreneurs in launching their ventures during the first 12 months and oversee the scaling of portfolio companies
· Studio performance: take part in the definition of our strategy and processes and the development of best practices across all ventures to scale the studio
Profile
· Graduated from Tier-1 business or engineering school
· Minimum 3-4 years of experience
· Mandatory experience in a top-tier consulting firm; experience in a renowned scale-up is a plus
· Outstanding strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable business plans
· Creative mindset: creative and free thinker who enjoys generating and deep-diving into new ideas, willing to challenge the status quo
· Passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, willing to build sustainable and scalable businesses
· Ambitious and visionary mindset
