Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network & Security Engineer to implement, manage, and maintain our network and security infrastructure, including its ongoing operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in F5 (LTM, ASM), Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto), Network Routing & Switching, Wireless Networking, Network Access Control (NAC), Email Security, Web Security, and cloud environments (AWS & Azure).
Key responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot F5 solutions (LTM, ASM) for load balancing and application security.
- Manage and secure firewalls, including Fortinet and Palo Alto.
- Oversee routing and switching environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement and manage wireless network solutions and enforce security best practices.
- Administer and enforce policies using Network Access Control (NAC) solutions (e.g., Fortinet NAC, Cisco ISE).
- Manage email security solutions and web security policies to protect against threats.
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions within AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and mitigate risks.
- Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, providing expert-level resolution.
- Document network configurations, security policies, and best practices.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support teams.
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in network and security roles, demonstrating subject matter expertise (SME).
- Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, ASM) configuration and management.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.
- In-depth knowledge of network routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, VxLAN).
- Experience in wireless networking and securing enterprise wireless infrastructures.
- Expertise in Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, particularly Fortinet NAC and Cisco ISE.
- Strong knowledge of email security solutions (e.g., Cisco ESA).
- Experience with web security solutions (e.g., Proxy, Web filtering, Secure Web Gateway).
- Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, and Cloud Security principles and solutions.
- Experience with network and security services in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Certifications (Preferred/Required):
Fortinet NSE 4 / NSE 7
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
Cisco CCNP Security or CCIE Security
F5 Certified Technology Specialist (e.g., LTM, ASM )
