Job Description
We are seeking an Architecture Support Engineer to join a leading player in the pharmaceutical industry. The role will focus on supporting the development of high-level architectural solutions and system designs aligned with business objectives for an advanced product roadmap. The consultant will collaborate with the R&D team and stakeholders to define and build the architecture of the next major version of the product.
The consultant will work closely with the team to support the definition of strategies for the next generation of the product, including instrument integration. This role involves both technical and strategic tasks to ensure the robustness and scalability of the solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of high-level architectural solutions and system designs to align with the product roadmap.
- Help build and define the architecture and scope for instruments, assessing the architecture of the next major version.
- Collaborate with the Architect to define the strategy for the next-gen product and the integration of instruments.
- Define and document technical standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders (product owners, marketing) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility, security, and robustness of the designs and technologies.
- Research and scout new technologies to address challenges in BioManufacturing and Process Development.
Required qualifications
Detailed Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences with at least 8 years of experience in Software Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in software architecture.
- Knowledge of FDA Regulatory Issues for Pharmaceuticals and Biologics (cGMP, GAMP, CFR) is a significant plus.
- Exposure to Manufacturing models and concepts in Life Science and Healthcare industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture methodologies, especially Capella, is beneficial.
- Exposure to OT/IT convergence-specific challenges is an advantage.
- Experience with OPC/UA and MTP is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ignition SCADA and Allen Bradley PLC is advantageous.
