Job Description
We are looking for a Verification & Validation Engineer who takes part to major developments by proving that the design is fit for its intended use, through implementation and execution of Verification, Integration and Test activities, fitting the targets in terms of QCD (Quality, Cost and Delivery)
Detail and perform all the in-house activities in the scope of the V&V team, and interface experts delegated in other departments. Cooperate tightly with Test & Commissioning to ensure seamless integration and alignment between in-house and on-site testing activities and results. Interface with design teams to share and detail the results of V&V activities
Agree with Verification & Validation Manager on strategy, scheduling and budget, and share progress, results and issues during execution.
Key accountabilities:
Contribute to the definition of the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan, and act proactively for its implementation
Define verification methodology for selected deliverables
Define test plans and test descriptions.
Perform and report on allocated verification, integration, and test activities
Specify, procure, develop, setup and configure assets such as test benches and instrumentation
Provide data to maintain applicable KPIs
Manage configuration and change management cycle related with V&V activities (simulation configuration, anomaly tracking, etc.)
Required qualifications
Educational Requirements
Graduated
Foreign language: English, full proficient use
Good analytical skill is required
Understanding and experience in Software coding
Desirable:
Knowledge of railway sector
Design and data preparation processes understanding
Engineering and system background
At least 2 years in relevant positions (systems / sub-systems integration, embedded equipment, electrotechnical product development) in a highly complex and normative environment (railway signaling, aerospace, defense, nuclear) would be a major asset
