Job Description
We are currently seeking to fill the position of UAV Production Manager to manage a facility producing Military Unmaned Air Vehicles (UAV). This is a permanent role with our client, based in the UAE.
The selected candidate will play a critical role for planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing processes, with a particolar focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Job Responsibilities :
• Oversee the production environment to ensure daily production and quality goals are safety is met.
• Set standards, and policy compliance, communicate shop standards, procedures, techniques and goals.
• Ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
• Provide leadership, continuous training and performance management supervision.
• Manage product flow and provide administrative supervision for production team.
• Provide input and feedback to management team in support of continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing projects
Required qualifications
• Master of Industrial engineering or equivalent, Production Qualified.
• 15 years of overall professional experience
• 10 years of solid Production Manager experience.
• Solid experience in the production of composite component, airframe assembly and production of electronic LRU
• Good experience with PLM tools and procut life cycle management using SAP
• Supervisory/production concepts (ex. lean/6 sigma, kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, etc.)
• Operations Management.
• Project Management.
