Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a project in the telecom industry, where we are seeking a DevOps engineer with expertise in AWS cloud services.
Responsibilities:
- Test AWS LZ functionality, security, connectivity, and reusability according to the required roadmap.
- Deploy, automate, manage, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems.
- Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across various application domains and platforms.
- Provide recommendations for architecture and process enhancements.
- Define and deploy systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on the AWS platform.
- Design, maintain, and manage tools for automating various operational processes.
- Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage AWS production systems.
- Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
- Resolve issues across multiple application domains and platforms using troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Automate operational processes by designing, maintaining, and managing tools.
- Provide primary operational support and engineering for all Cloud and Enterprise deployments.
- Lead platform security efforts by collaborating with the core engineering team.
- Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for IAC and CI/CD that teams can adhere to.
- Possess good knowledge of CICD/DevOps pipelines on AWS.
- Document and promote best practices for development excellence.
Required qualifications
- Solid understanding and proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and GitLab.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Proficient in AWS DevOps applications and services, including but not limited to CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, and AWS Service Catalog.
- Ability to integrate AWS Service Catalog products with secret store vaults.
- Strong knowledge and experience in various DevOps-related tools and practices.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools.
- Experience in architecting and implementing DevOps solutions on AWS.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable DevOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of best practices for security, reliability, and scalability in DevOps processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- AWS DevOps certification or relevant certifications would be a plus.
